Since I only write once or twice a month wondering why? Will try to improve. It's not like I'm busy

Home drinking clear liquids today for you-know-what tomorrow. It's only 11am and already missing solid food. Also trying to go without smoking since I have been taking the Chantix long enough just have to get the smoking thoughts out of my head.
Just re-started the sweater I want to knitfor the 3rd time, 3rd time's the charm right?

Ok once again I am going to try to keep up with blogging...along with other hobbies. Just back from Maryland (yes again) The family is good althought Jacob developed a hell of a outbreak of Hives, over it after prednisone. Zach's place of employment closing the roof caved in on it, HE LOVED that job.
Hobby update..I finnished the socks started in dec with socks that rock yarn purchased at stitches east 2008 . A sweater I started about 1 1/2 yrs ago unraveled and restarted. My gypsy (scapbooking tool) is loaded with all mine and Melissa's cricut cartridge's. I have updated things on ravelry and facebook hopefully all linked together. Still haven't linked my ctmh web site with this blog but will try
I am hoping to get my wi-fi network back and running today and then life will be good

Back in Lancaster

Got back from Maryland yesturday, was a fast ride in my new "ride". Rained in Md almost all week cramped my style! Went to Nicholas's school (pre-school) with apple snacks and Dora book to read that Nicky picked out. Kids are so easy to impress, they all were excited about Nicholas's grandma and cousin coming to visit!
Also we spent a day at calvert marine museum..I love that place for small people! I made 2 bamboo fishing poles, which I forgot there!
Anyways Zachary had fun with Jimm V there and Allyson. Nicholas and jacob were equally happy with Allison and the big boy!

There is still snow coming down and laying on the ground! trying to get organized to fit all the stuff in the NEW car. Then heading to Maryland friday morning. My company traveling is Allyson (niece) and Jimmy (Z's best friend ). FUN FUN in store for all.

First Rhinebeck than Stitches East

Ok back a week now from Rhinebeck, I got some great advice from Claudia whom I met in the Lobby of our hotel. I had wanted to learn to spin-she sent me to Carolina Homespun, SOo Sunday morning I headed there Regine (SPELLING?) was so patient helping me pick a drop spindle and showing how to use it. Now its up to me to practice! I need more than 2 hands so i can sew knit spin all at the same time.
Believe it or not I am now packing to go to my daughter's in MD. She wants to sccrapbook so packing that, Knitting stuff , thinking about taking my "little "bernina to sew. I still have to pack some clothes to wear! The Bins are stacking up near the door I am leaving thursday.
All I can say is I love being retired!
